4 Prevalent Pantser Pitfalls

I am a pantser. I will be the first to admit it. If you’re not familiar with the term, a pantser is someone who writes “by the seat of their pants.” In other words, they just sit down, face a blank page, and go for it. Plotters, on the other hand, like to use outlining methods and tools to meticulously plan their stories. That’s not to say that all plotters are confined to their outlines, or that some pantsers don’t have key plot points in mind when they write, but in a nutshell, pantsers and plotters are two very different types of writer.
